I wanted to thank you again for your advice on my Ancient Roman Bread dilemna. I ended up making 4 loaves in the bread machine through the rising process and then baking the loaves in the oven. It worked great. |

I see you are fascinated by Mukhtar Mai's case, i was just like you, however, a good lawyer friend of mine from pakistan actually sent me this link which shows that High court text of the case which acquitted the alleged rapists, you might wanna review it. I am not for or against anybody, i am for the truth, and i'd invite you to take a read and actually know the facts of the case prior to passing judgment

I loved your site and the quote you had on your front page today:
"How beautiful is death, when earn'd by virtue! Who would not be that youth? What pity is it That we can die but once to serve our country!" - Joseph Addison, "Cato", Act 4, Scene 4, 1713
I served 15 years in the U.S. military, part of it in Desert Storm (Gulf War I) and I'm reminded of another quote by General George S. Patton that goes something like this:
"Let the other poor bastard die for HIS country." |

Michael....I enjoyed visiting your web site and really appreciate the site that you have developed for Spottsville,KY. I was beginning to think that Spottsville was nothing more than just a "spot" on the map with no life. I'm glad to see that it is real and alive. My grandfather was born there in the late 1800's (he claimed, in a log cabin on the Green River). I plan to visit there one day soon. I am the caretaker of the family history and believe that there is much to be found there on my family...despite the small size of the town. Thank you again for giving life to this small but very significant place in my life. |
