I like this show and I am glad to see it made the cut for a second season. First of all I like Geena Davis. I enjoyed Cutthroat Island completely. (Yes, I know the critics panned it, it lost money, etc, etc - I liked it) There are probably two main reasons I'm glad to see women play strong characters in movies and on television; my two daughters. There are more than enough stories of the damsel in distress getting rescued. I think it is good for them to see that women can be great leaders, like Margaret Thatcher (Britain's longest serving Prime Minister in the 20th century) or Ségolène Royal who a serious contender for the role of the first woman president of France.
